LearnLib and Beyond – 23rd October, 2026

Organizers:
Markus Frohme, Falk Howar, and Bernhard Steffen – TU Dortmund University

We invite researchers, developers, and users of automata learning techniques to join us for an Automata Learning Workshop and LearnLib User Meeting, co-located with ISoLA / AISoLA 2026 on October 23, 2026.

The meeting aims at bringing together the automata learning community to exchange experiences, present recent developments, discuss applications, and identify future directions for tools and methods such as LearnLib and related frameworks. We particularly welcome contributions on practical uses of automata learning, tool integration, scalability, benchmark problems, industrial applications, and open research challenges.

The workshop is intended as an informal and interactive forum. Contributions may include talks, tool demonstrations, experience reports, current challenges and problems, or discussion proposals. Both long-time users and newcomers interested in automata learning are very welcome.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • active automata learning and model learning,
  • applications in testing, verification, monitoring, and security,
  • LearnLib use cases, extensions, and integrations,
  • benchmarks, reproducibility, and evaluation methodology,
  • industrial experiences and open challenges.

We encourage both presentations and papers as submissions. Post-proceedings will be available as part of the IsoLA post-proceedings. We look forward to meeting the automata learning community at ISoLA / AISoLA 2026!
